Sekkeisha.Lounge in short
Sekkeisha Lounge is an art group, which inspirations and roots com from anime, manga, j-music and other forms of Japanese art and culture. Currently Sekkeisha Lounge is an 'In Progress' project but members are needed before the opening date for the main website (which is where the art will be displayed as a whole). If you are intrested in joining the art group check below. It's also worth noting that we are not a "club", we are an art group that works in a similar way to the likes of noir.org , depthcore.com , breedart.org , rasterized.org to name some.

The members in which we are looking for have to to specialize in illustration to a certine degree. The art we accept to be published in each release, is expected to be of a high standard and work will be chosen according to what we think is the most original visually.We're also looking for work that is done in differnt mediums, so that means we're not just looking for digital paintings, we are also looking for design based work, traditional work (paint, etc), mixed media, photography (of cosplay, japanese itself, etc)... we're basically leaving the art upto you with out any limitations appart from it being inspired by anime, manga, j-music and other forms of Japanese art and culture.

So if you are intrested in joining, please [b]send us a note[/b] stating that you wish to join us, and if you work is hosted on a different website, please provide a link. If you are not a DeviantArt member and still wish to join Sekkeisha Lounge, you can do so by sending an email to r__23@hotmail.com with the subject **S-Lounge Application** and a link to examples of your work. All applications will be looked at and a reply will be sent stating if you made it on to the group or not. Also if you have tried once but still wish to join, keep trying! We may notice something new that may be what we are looking for!

Remember, the type of art and tools you use are entirely upto you!

note: we are not looking for works that include cut & pasted & edited anime stock images.
